I recently opened a link that led me to this site. https://rightreport.com/

I have read a few articles since then and have had no red flags go up about content, but...

Some of the articles are linked to sights that while the content seems kosher, the names of the sights seem as though they may have a bent that I would possibly not want to associate with.

I may be totally wrong.

They seem to be US based with American authors, without anything truly alt-right. So, as long as you take them for what they are, and claim to be - right wing commentaries, then it's all good.

I see no problems with the articles that i glanced over on a few of the sites you linked. Ive seen some of these talked about on the "normal" msm outlets

Their profile is really thin. They appear to be an aggregator for content from other sites but a short dig brought up almost no information about who runs it or how. I'd view it with a modicum of suspicion

That particular registry seems to be 14 years old, dormant much of the time and the IP does not host any other sites and its traffic barely registers

The "time travel" aspect of the look of the sites made me suspicious as well as that, rather, dated look is what other not-so-subtle sites have.

That being said, I did not see anything overtly......ya know.
