An older nothing special Road King for me.
When the 94 Soft Tail got 100,000 on it, I got a Road King.
We call it JAFRK, (Just Another F***ing Road King)

My first electronic fuel injected bike!
It just starts up and runs, and it took me quite a while to get used to that...

The Triumph is a 650R desert racer. It's been hard tailed, twisted springer front end, nice spring seat, straight pipes, magneto, mikuni carb, chrome oil tank, trailer fender, house of color paint job. I don't ride it anymore, I stack pool rafts on it.

    You could call it JAFT.

My 2001 ZRX1200R. At 61, I’m probably a little too old for it but I’m not letting it go. Every once in a while someone will ask me if it’s an Eddie Lawson Replica. I wish!!! A replica of the replica, kinda.

Wife’s Raider. It’s fun watching people watch a 135# woman get on that monster. It’s really quite easy to ride and the seat is real low to the ground. I’ve done so many mods, it’s hardly a Raider anymore. Different handlebars and floorboards, plus what you can see.

My 1983 Honda V65 Magna. The first factory production motorcycle to break into the 10 second 1/4 mile. Not with me on it. Still runs and ride it about as much as the ZRX.

Ive probably owned 40-45 bikes in my life, but I’ve never owned a Harley. Nothing against them, just don’t have that kind of money for one bike. Wife is a pretty fair weather rider, so we don’t go on real long trips, or if there is a chance of rain any time in the next month.

At one point I had 8 motorcycles, mostly 80-90’s muscle bikes. They all ran, but it was a matter of finding one that would start, and carb cleaning was getting......tiresome. Wife said I had a museum that nobody visited. Moved and downsized.

This was clean the garage day, summer 2012? I had a couple of biker guys just stop in outa the blue that day. They all started and ran, might have been the last time. Some I bought not running. My thing was putting them back to stock mostly.

The one I miss the most: 1986 Kawasaki 900 Eliminator.

These pics are a couple years old. Since then I have put on passenger floorboards and a larger passenger seat and LED lights. We haven't done the riding that we would like to this year because of the rain. Hoping things get better.

These were my 2004 Goldwing (yes that's me in the saddle) and my 2008 Hayabusa, which I owned concurrently until 2011. Then I kept the Busa for another year or so, now there are no horses in the stable. Really miss them.

This was my first Goldwing. It was a 2003, I only had it for about 4 or 5 months when I totaled it. I got hurt pretty bad on this one, the only time I was ever injured on a bike. Helmet saved my life.

If I could find the right places to ride this type of bike, I would highly consider getting one. I have only owned 3 motorcycles in my life and enjoyed them at the time, but things would come up and I ended up selling them. The key for me is to have people to ride with that want to do the kind of riding I'm interested in which is taking a paved road to get to some 2-track, single-track or other "off-road" type stuff. I'm not comfortable riding on the streets anymore. I owned to "standard" bikes and one cruiser. I wish I hadn't bought the cruiser but I tried for several years to learn to like it. Now, I realize that for the most part, I like the bikes more than the riding. Go figure.

I'm not big on street bikes (especially cruisers), but a good dual sport makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

My DR350. It's not like the KTMs I owned previous to it, but there's something about the spindly legs and bullet proof air cooled single that I like... plus the 5.8 gallon tank from a XR650L (with home made mounting brackets to make it fit) gives it quite a range.
