    Ha! I just poured a measure of Elijah Craig Small Batch myself. Was going to hit the Eagle Rare but the EC was open. Besides, he's my great, great......grandpappy.

    On a related note, ever surprised by a bottle of rotgut?

    I needed a bottle of gin for making mixed drinks like a Tom Collins. I found an $8 bottle and gave it a try. After all, you really can’t taste the gin over the mixers.
    I took a nip from the bottle and it was surprisingly good.

    not that I’ll drink it straight, but I imagined MUCH worse.

    CVS doesn't have store-brand gin. That's rubbing alcohol :lmfao:
