Posted last week about the Friendship Flea Market and ended up going today. Just as I'd heard, ( worth going to once ) The thing that really made me wonder was, I saw a Carmel PD suv in the parking lot. Just wondering how far the police are able to travel in their job related vehicles for personal pleasure? 120 miles seems excessive for pleasure or even muzzle loader practice. If I'd of known they were heading that way, I'd asked for a ride and payed for gas to offset the price to tax payers even though I don't live in Carmel. Thoughts on this or is this normal ?

Carmel PD has state wide use of their take home cars, but the officer pays for the gas when used out of the county. At least that’s the way I remember a friend of mine on CPD explaining it to me.
