    Yep. 3 neighbors with above ground pools. 2 got busted at the same time for not having good enough fencing.
    One tore theirs down to avoid the cost.
    One had to erect 1' fencing attached to the perimeter of the above ground pool even though he had a standard 4' chain link around the yard (with a padlocked gate to boot!)
    One didnt have to put their fence up until they were selling to retire 3-5 years later. "Coincidentally" they worked for .gov.
    all 3 were within view of one another, so its not like the 3rd didnt just not get noticed. That one smelled of favoritism. (good folks, dont get me wrong)

    Exactly! Legal limit where im at is 6ft for fencing, but mine might be just a touch higher than that.....

    I was required by a previous homeowner 's insurance company to put a fence around the back side of my pool that WASN'T AS TALL AS THE POOL. And, my closest neighbor is 1/4 of a mile away. Durrrr.....

    Not many pole-vaulting burglars. Digging under it would be some hard work so that will deter most of the criminal element.
