Here's the idea. Think of something exciting, scary, funny etc. that happened to you in the past. Something that you'd tell around the campfire to friends and family. Now find (as close to as you can) the exact spot on Google maps, Apple maps, etc and drop a pin where it took place. Now screenshot it and post it along with the story.
I'll start. Here is the spot in Osceola, IN.
Summer, 1986(ish). Dad stopped our 1984 Ford Escort on the north side of Lincolnway right at the Baugo Creek bridge. I don't remember why be all 4 of us headed down to the creek. When we were done doing whatever we were doing, we headed back to the car. I sat behind dad, my sister sat behind mom. We all got in the car and dad started it up. As he went to grab the shifter, I watched his hand. Coiled around the shifter boot was a snake. It was black with yellow stripes, about an inch thick. We all bailed out like there was a snake in the car. That put me dead center of the west bound lane of Lincolnway with traffic flowing.
Dad grabbed a snow brush and ended up getting it out. Mom kept reminding him "Don't let it get in the vent's". As we got back in the car, I do remember being leery about having another snake come out from under the seat.
