I wish I could better understand what I was reading... I need pictures or something because it goes too deep for my apparent pea brain

Quantum Mechanics and other branches of modern physics make my poor head hurt. Classical Newtonian Mechanics and their extension to fluids were plenty challenging for this pachyderm.

I used to be able to use ensemble notation. Not anymore!

Exactly! Your emoticon is a good approximation of a portrait of me when I was sitting in grad level thermodynamics classes when we covered statistical mechanics (kind of a marriage between quantum mechanics, classical thermodynamics, and probability/statistics). Unpleasant memories and I have next to zero retention of the material.

Lets face it, the guy had his girlfriend leave lip prints and snail tracks on the Xerox and then copied a blank piece of black paper...

I am not nearly smart enough to understand the statement, "Sometimes the effect can actually precede it's cause."

That will require some 'splainin', Lucy.

Fella's do not feel bad. :dunno: Nobody understands this stuff. Not even :chuck:.

Yeah, that was really cool to see over the weekend.

Our tech is enabling us to confirm all sorts of stuff. Only a matter of space-time before we will start to see some incredible advancements.

Or, maybe those already exist and we're just going to catch up to them.

I'm guessing a stay at the local Holiday Inn Express probably won't do much good here.

    Sadly, probably not.

This trip down memory lane has me envious of what my brain used to hold. I do not envy the angst and emotional turmoil of youth, however.
