I found a HUGE deal in the Menards clearance pile in the yard today.
Actually, my brother saw it first, but wasn't quite enough for him.
I got 10.5 square of Timbercrest Plus vinyl siding(enough to do my entire house) 4 corners, and 17 sticks of J-channel, all matching, and it is the "Color-Guard" siding.
This means it has the color all the way through the siding. Even if it gets scratched, it's difficult to see.
The color is Pecan, and is just a shade darker than I would have normally chosen, but in the color range/hue I was looking for.
I was thinking about residing my house, but wasn't really ready to spend the money right now.
This was a deal I couldn't pass up.
I got the entire "bunk" above for $100 + .07% Indiana sales tax!
It was a special order that someone had failed to pick up, and they needed it gone.
I don't know for sure if I have enough J-channel, but I think I can afford a couple pieces now that I got the rest of the house for $100!
