A few (many?) of you might know of Joerg Sprave, a retired German engineer and a beast of a man who regularly posts videos about his weird, wacky, and all-in-all amazing inventions.

The dude got sick and tired of YouTube censorship... and brought the world's largest independent trade union, IG Metall, to the fight.

They proposed some really neat ideas in the video on how they would apply pressure on YouTube:
    1) False self-employment issue
    2) Data Protection Law violations
    3) Public outrage (I paraphrased to make it family-friendly)

    Finally, some spice.
Christiane Benner, the IGM's vice president, said in the video that her "job is... Social Justice."
An unexpected turn of events for the SJWs at YouTube for sure!

If you think about all the content creators on YouTube. Losing a thousand would be a drop in the bucket. YouTube may just drop all of them in the union.

Lots of streamers are also on twitch.
If twitch adopted a similar platform of allowing revenue via uploads I would think they would catch many of the users leaving YouTube
