From the Atterbury Shooting Complex parking lot, I saw what I believe were three gun ships and one tandem rotor helicopter. The best part was watching the guys or gals jumping from the tandem. Probably old hat for you veterans, but not something I see often. I am grateful for those who serve and have served. Thank you

They've been playing war games a lot lately. Have heard them going till about 130 am and starting back around day light. Haven't seen that many aerial flares this year

We would come off the Chinook's so deaf you couldn't hear a elephant fart in a cave. You wouldn't know someone was shooting at you unless you saw the flash...

I didn't witness activities at Atterbury, but did see a Blackhawk briefly low hover over Raytheon on Friday. Lived in the area for all my 40yrs and never seen that before

I saw 3 military helicopters (Blackhawks? Hueys?) flying toward the southwest when I was at Walmart (on 31 South just south of Southport Rd) yesterday around 11:30 a.m.. Guessing they were taking part in whatever was going on at Atterbury.

Theyre staging at Atterbury for the impending opening of the Beech Grove Amtrak concentration camp.

Then you must have been out of town several years ago when they did the big war game at Raytheon (and other areas) There were blackhawks, Chinooks, and even a few Apache gunships EVERYWHERE that afternoon. It was crazy. I work a mile from there and they were flying over constantly, sometimes in multiples, for several hours that day.

Friends live between Whiteland and Franklin out along Centerline Rd...from the back patio at night you can see the flashes when when they are shooting night time artillery.

Oh yeah. A formation flight of Blackhawks and Chinooks escorted by gunships was a little unnerving even though I knew it was all just an exercise.
