What happened? Drove past around 5. Saw the aftermath and road closure.

Semi ran off the road southbound, demolishing the NW pole, and coming to rest on the SW pole. It burst into flames. By taking out the SW pole, it dropped the traffic control signals to the ground, blocking both directions.

USDS posted video of the truck in flames to their FB page. It was scary looking. No word about injuries.

When I came home around 2 pm there was a county sheriff at 37 and smith valley northbound routing traffic onto smith valley east bound. The funny thing is that most of the rerouted cars were turning into the speedway station and turning back northbound on 37.
