Thin on details, do not have a description?

Four people were killed when a suspect — who remains on the run — entered a Kansas City, Kan., bar early Sunday morning and opened fire, police said.

Nine people were shot at Tequila KC Bar, located around 10th Street and Central Avenue, around 1:30 a.m., Kansas City police spokesperson T.J. Tomasic told reporters.
He confirmed four people were dead at the scene and five others who had been shot were transported to nearby hospitals. Tomasic said he believes those five are in stable condition.

No one was in custody and police "do not have a good enough description yet to put anything out for a suspect, or suspects, we don't even know how many."

From handgunlaw.us: signs don't have force of law, however:

County and Kansas City, Kansas in effect on January 12, 2017.They do not have to use the new “AG exempt building signage” , but can post using the ‘normal’ AG approved signage if they want to prevent CC carry inside the building. If it is NOT posted, then CC is allowed. All places Off Limitsmust be posted with approved signage as defined by the Attorney General.

From the article: "Tomasic said the shooting stemmed from an earlier altercation, in which the two gunmen had apparently fought with some people inside the bar, left, then returned with handguns."

So, somebody knew the two gunmen were the same 2 that were in an altercation in the same bar earlier, but they have no description? Something doesn't pass the smell test here.

Pretty much how we saw this. They know.

Obviously you don't work in law enforcement.

No unexpected or uncommon, especially in the hood, where witnesses fear the suspects/gangs/whatever more than they fear the police. Just here in Indianapolis, for example:

These three stories are from a quick Google search. I suspect lack of witness cooperation is why Chicago's murder clearance rate is around 8%. Well, along with other problems in Chicago.

No, I'm not in law enforcement and I was kind of being facetious. I know exactly why there are no descriptions. Snitches get stitches and all that. What really kills me is when one of the "victims" refuses to cooperate. I'd just say, "Okay, well since you're not going to cooperate, I guess we'll just let you bleed out here on the sidewalk. Have a nice evening." Probably a good thing I'm not in law enforcement. :):

Just another couple of lowlife piece of **** animals. I wonder if they’re here legally?

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/one-kansas-bar-shooting-suspect-caught-and-second-still-on-run/

One of the initial reports I heard on the radio was suspects were identified as Hispanic. Never heard another mention of it during the weekend news cycle as they did not want it to interfere with their guns are bad narrative. Interesting to see the GFZ sign in the background of many of the newscast.

Now that the mugshots are out, this story will fade from the news cycle.
