OK, so I watched my share of SNL, but don't remember much. Was watching 'Celebrity Jeopardy' SNL skits, which led to this, and saw this, came from this:

    :cowbell:

Am I the only one that didn't know where this came from? I feel so nerdy.

p.s. I heartily recommend the SNL Celebrity Jeopardy skits; the ones with Sean Connery are freakin funny.

A usually quiet co worker came up to me a few weeks ago and observed that our boss was much like the cowbell. You may THINK you dont want him around your shop, because he's "allegedly " an incompetent boob, but you'll find out that really, "You're going to want more of that Donnie around "....

wow...i thought everybody knew what "more cowbell ment!"

when my kids were in highschool (8 or 9 years ago) we drove to indy for a concert band competition, one of my daughters played the cowbell (along with the trumpet!), and one of the judges asked the band to play a specific part again, and said to my daughter "miss to quote Saturday night live...more cowbell!"

the whole room chuckled! in fact I think the yet unborn child in the womb of the pregnant lady sitting next to laughed!

Yes, I knew I was probably one of the few that had never seen it. We watched SNL in the late 70s and into the 80s, but then life took over, and I somehow got away from it. Christopher Walken is one of my all-time favorites, too.

    .

to quote Steve Dickenson (Christopher Walken) "I put my pants on one leg at a time, only when I done...I make gold records!"
