    .
So I am watching "Amadeus" right now.

Does anyone know what this thing is? The large white columnish stovey potbelly thing. Like a column but with legs? Weird and there's more of it behind like it has duct work attached to the wall. And there's what looks like a "Bellows" sitting on a cabinet which makes it more of a stove, I guess.

I love period pieces but I never really studied this era too much to know.

    Anyone have an idea?
ChurchMouse.... Did you have one of these?

Ah, Antonio Salieri. A bitter man that never had the natural talent of Mozart.

I have no idea. My guess would be a [STRIKE]dressing chamber[/STRIKE].

Upon further inspection, it is clearly attached to the wall. Possibly a heating radiator of some kind. Sorry, speculating and making conversation.

    Alright! Very cool.
Is that a phone app? Is it available on desktop?

I use my stupid smartphone to make calls. That's about it.

I have a Google Pixel phone. It's built into the camera. So I just took a screenshot and hit the G-eye button. I don't know if it's on a laptop or other Android smartphone.

It looks like the official name of the app Bigtanker is mentioning is "Google Lens". It is available in Google Play app store. I'll have to give it a try.

Also, the movie dramatizes the relationship between Mozart and Salieri. While they were rivals for certain jobs early in Mozart's career, they were also collaborators. But it makes for a good movie. :)

Yep, wood burning stove. The attachment to the wall allowed the stove to be fed from a service passage or anteroom so the occupants would not be disturbed by the servants.
