Anyone Know Mark? I think his name is Mark because of file photo names on the USB Drive. I found A USB Drive of His @ IUPU (IU School of Medicine) and would like to return it. Has some information on it that I think he would like to have back. I'm trying to post a picture I found on the USB drive....hope it works.

Here's a reason to use encryption on thumbsticks.

It's old, and not recommended, but I use TrueCrypt.

And I should add a photo of me wearing an INGO hat on all my sticks.

Plugging an unknown thumb drive into your computer will lose you your security clearance...may or may not apply. Our enemies regularly dropped thumb drives in the Pentagon parking lot hoping we'd take them in and plug them into a computer; now that's just another device we don't use.

SO THIS. Dont do it. Just like a hooker, you dont know where it has been and dont know what you might catch.

So stick it in your buddy's computer instead. :):

Or get you elected to a high office.

Still a bad idea. At least use a computer at IUPUI or the library.

Losing a thumb drive might endanger your clearance also, and/or your job.

If that med school is anything like my experience elsewhere, get it to the secretary. Or the student advocate. The reality is med schools are small and most people know or at least recognize everyone.
