    Where are yours made? That could explain a lot.

    Im replacing my 10YO flag this spring just because it is faded. Stitching is in great shape. (made in the USA)

    Yeah i think that may be it. We have 3 hanging across the front porch USMC, LEO, and United States flag. Looks like stitching seems to play a big part.

    We fly the flag on our asphalt plant at work. Way up there and at O'Hare so it is very windy. I run a healthy bit of clear silicone (RTV) down the edge and it really seems to help. Just smear it on both sides where they usually start to rip.
