    Loved Baa Baa Black Sheep, too! He was the perfect guy to play Pappy Boyington, for sure! That was my favorite show as a kid, bar none.

    He looked exactly like what you'd expect someone to look like flying the badass F4U Corsair!

    Apologize for the thread jack but this seems to fit here. The real Boyington is a pretty interesting story. War hero, drunk, Ace, POW, he was never able to find his way in civilian life.
    The Black Sheep were actually mostly grads of prestigious colleges and had 3 Aces before even going on a mission. The TV show depicting them as screw ups awaiting court martial offended those still alive.
