We usually celebrate ours the day before. It's easier to go out to eat because everyone else is waiting for that day.

Been together 16 years and married 12 years. I told my wife year 1 that V-Day was nothing but a sales gimmick, and I would not celebrate it. You shouldn't just express your love for one another on one particular day. She bought it and to this day 14 Feb is just another day.
