    A) What did her parents THINK would happen?
    B) Would be interested to see what policy this violated. Because, if it didn't violate a written policy, the artwork was banned because of some administrator's personal preference. THAT could be grounds for some legal action.

    So, the question should be do you want to have somebody slinging spent .22 shell casings at you or would you rather have them slinging used nails at you? The stupid is strong in this one.

    When I teach kids to shoot, I always tell them, don't take the brass to school.
    Schools freak out over that stuff nowadays.
    They shouldn't.
    But they do.

    We make ink pens from cartridge casings. Kids bring in the empties, we fill with epoxy and tube and do our thing. We also hand forge "letter openers" cause everyone knows knives are bad.

    But yes, all are afraid of everything. I will stop here as I would quickly become political or create a "hoof and mouth" disease situation for myself.
