    That was nuts. I saw Gas Man Griffin go out of the ballpark at Manzanita, just miss my rental car, and broadside a motor home, knocking someone off the roof and breaking his leg.

    That's pretty wild. The crossover can be a crazy place during a roundy round race. We did a 400 lap race at Anderson once and had to do pit stops...in the crossover. Needed extra eyes for that $#!+ for sure because having your head on a swivel wasn't enough.

    My guess is the pace car driver turned on his hazard flashers when he saw the crash start. If he would’ve gotten out of there quicker he would have avoided being torpedoed. Probably waiting for the OK from Race Control.
