    Just FYI, you can skip questions on the online 2020 Census.

    I tried and was able to skip age and race, but edited back in at the end.

    I have always skipped everything except number of people living here. The way I have always understood the census that is all that is required. Jim.

    I used to believe that too until I read what the US Constitution says about the Census.
    Unfortunately, Congress has the constitutional right to set the laws about how the Census is conducted.

    US Constitution
    Article I
    Section 2
    ...The actual Enumeration shall be made within three years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of ten years, in such manner as they (Congress) shall by law direct. ...

    At this point it would be simpler if they just had Google answer all of the questions for us, probably be a lot more accurate too.
