But you can believe what you want to believe, but you don't have to live like a refugee Morlock [sorry, Tom]
The only data I have looked at is from the Ohio Department of Health.
What I personally believe is irrelevant to anything, I am just using their data.

I would imagine they update their data as they get new information so any first-case date can change when they find a new one. They may find earlier dates at any time.

The earliest chinese virus case is now listed as January 2, 2020.
That means the peak death date of April 28 would be 119 days in.
Today (May 30, 2020) would be 151 days in.

I downloaded the data from the Ohio Department of Health and imported it into a local database.

Here are the first 20 cases listed by the Ohio Department of Health.

Here is a link to Cleveland.com that also refers to the January cases.

"The state is now reporting that the onset of symptoms was as early as January for 13 cases – three from Warren County, three from Montgomery, two from Miami, and one each from Lake, Richland, Summit, Union and Wood counties."

Remember the dire predictions of C-19 deaths? I do! Seems the media doesn't...

From The New York Times on March 13: “As many as 200,000 to 1.7 million people could die.”

From The New York Times on March 16: “Sweeping new federal recommendations announced on Monday for Americans to sharply limit their activities appeared to draw on a dire scientific report warning that, without action by the government and individuals to slow the spread of coronavirus and suppress new cases, 2.2 million people in the United States could die.”

From The Washington Post, March 19: “In the worst-case scenario, America is on a trajectory toward 1.1 million deaths.”
In other words? By this point, there were estimates aplenty in the media that there would be anywhere from almost a half million to 1.5 million to 2.2 million dead Americans. But mysteriously in all the stories about the 100,000 dead Americans there is no mention - zero - of earlier media predictions that there would be ten or twenty times that number of deaths.

Interesting to note that if some democrat controlled states had properly managed their nursing home situations C-19 may not have even been at the high death level for flu deaths. This continues to look like the greatest hoax in history...

This is what I was using, the OHD WuVid 19 dashboard. The charts are interactive and indicate the first death attributed to the disease was 17 Mar

Exactly right - so am I.
    https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/dashboards

Obviously they do not update their page with their own data. Near the top of the page is a link that says "Download the summary data (CSV)"
The link behind that is https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/static/...ummaryData.csv
That will download the latest data.

And all the peaceful protesters have now been replaced by rioters, and the media celebrates.

Don't worry, if we just require masks to enter the city, then the rioting will stop.

It's the new normal, you need to social distance, bring hand sanitizer.

As of Saturday evening, at least 250 businesses across the Twin Cities had been vandalized, looted or had doors and windows smashed. Some have been reduced to rubble, destroyed completely by fire. Others have reported extensive water damage or severe fire damage.

While this is an incomplete list, businesses near the Third Precinct are likely to have experienced damage. As protests spread across the metro, many larger companies with multiple locations have temporarily or indefinitely closed, including several CVS and 24 Target locations. We will continue to update as we learn more.
    https://www.startribune.com/these-minneapolis-st-paul-buildings-are-damaged-looted-after-george-floyd-protests/569930671/

That website lists a whole bunch of the 250 Plus businesses,
Target stores were hit hard so they closed 24 stores throughout the state. I'm not sure why they picked on Target stores so much since they are/were owned by Dayton-Hudson and very dumocrap associated - Mark Dayton is a past dumocrap governor of Minnesota.
