    On July 2, 1860 Queen Victoria fired a ceremonial rifle shot celebrating the founding of the British NRA https://nra.org.uk/home-page/ .

    My folks deal in antiques and gave me an early Christmas present today. Given the date, they could not wait until December. A Pratt pot lid from around 1860-65 with an illustration of the Queen firing a Whitworth rifle. Pic of a similar lid from the net below. So happy 160th birthday, sorry you don't have freedom!
