    NOOOO!

It was bound to happen sooner or later and at least it wasn't Covid.

FWIW, Devil Went Down to Georgia is the first song I ever remember hearing. Dad had the JBLs cranked up and kicking it on the reel-to-reels when I was probably 3 or 4 years old.

    RIP, CD.

RIP Charlie. Now you've gone to join the ones you sang about.

    I have a deep sadness.

He was a :patriot: in every sense of the word.

    For sure, you're right!

This one has sadly remained pretty timeless. Just change the enemy...

Wish I had the 18s up here to do this one justice. :rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot:

I grew up running around Christian Park listening to CD, REO Speedwagon and some other greats. Charlie loves his music and he loved this country. He will be missed.

I only got to see him once (for free) but it was one hell of a show!

I saw my first CDB concert when I was 14. Charlie Daniels seemed larger than life then. As I grew older, my love for CDB and the man never lessened.

He was an immense talent who had a hall of fame career that spanned decades. His music made life better. Godspeed Charlie.
