Not sure how well they'll function but there's a 100% guarantee they'll taste better!

Negative, Ghostrider. You enjoy the bacon, then use the grease to make a roux and make red beans and rice or dirty rice

    Win-win

    Edit: No filtering needed

I forgot to finish typing before I hit send. What I meant to say was “I normally throw the bacon away and save the grease, said nobody ever”. :hooked:

What self-respecting INGOtarian would not wish to make their own?

Exactly. Why pay for what I can collect for free?

And "triple filtered", so all the little tasty bits are removed? That's what makes the popcorn taste great.

That's a "no" from me, dawg.

Same. whats the point? Less taste with the same negative health benefits? No thanks. I'll stick to unfiltered.

    Uhuh, sure you did.

And isn't this stuff in the store essential just lard? :dunno:
I would think it’s not the same. I worked for Emge in Ft Branch for 10 years. Spent a little time in the Lard Rendering Dept. It was mostly just rendered down belly fat. I’d think this stuff is rendered down from smoked bacon that would include the brine and smoke flavor. If you believe anybody would throw bacon away you fell for it too :):

Not real sure what the advantage of this would be other than maybe a little more flavor than plain lard. Might make a good lube for happy fun time.:naughty::naughty::naughty: But no way would I use it as gun grease. You just know there is a lot of salt in it, and the flies and yellow jackets would be all over it.

The flies and yellow jackets would make for good tuck and roll training. :draw:

The last time I tucked & rolled a big tree limb kicked out from the chain saw and tried to take my head off...
I'm too old for that crap, leave it to the young guys still trying to show off to get girls ;)

Young bulls want to RUN down and knock one off,
Old bulls WALK down and knock them ALL OFF!

On the other hand, I'm never going to be too old for BACON! :)
You know one good thing about bacon? ..... (EVERYTHING!)

I don't know about gun grease, the smell probably take my mind off shooting and I'd head for the kitchen...

I operate a CNC Router. The grease for the rails comes from Germany, $150 a can. This stuff is like 120 wt. Have had it reverse-engineered, and it can't be done. Wonder how close this would be?

And the vacuum pump operates at 260 deg, so I can do the eggs also.
