I have a 97 Saturn with a frame rail that has rusted enough that the nuts inside the frame rail that the trailing arm mounts to have spun loose. Basically looks like about a 6x6" section of the bottom of this frame rail needs to be cut out and plate stock welded in with the requisite holes drilled and nuts welded to the back. Doesn't have to be pretty, doesn't need to be a whole massive frame rail replacement. The car is a beater, if cost goes past about $350 I'm just going to put that toward replacing the vehicle.
Anyone recommend a small welding shop or someone who can do that kind of patch? Wish I could do it myself, but no garage anymore and no 240v outlet for my welder.
