Our youngest was in a car accident on Friday evening. T-boned at an intersection less than 2 miles from our house. Flipped the van completely over and it ended up facing the other way from his direction of travel. Only 1 airbag (in the passenger seat) went off, but both boys were wearing seat belts. Only injuries from the whole thing? Our son had a forehead scrape and a sore back muscle, and his passenger has a few scratches from broken glass on his arm. It all could have been much worse.
Now we need a new van, but that's preferable to the possible alternatives.

Divine protection for certain. The amount of energy needed to put a 4500 lbs vehicle with a low center of gravity on its head is massive. The whiplash at impact can kill you. Thank God they're ok.

I'm also thankful everyone walked away clean.

Having spent some time working with Honda, I can tell you that someone has blessed them with being insanely fastidious in their work on the body side. Anybody else notice that thing rolled completely over and the sliding door still opens on the adjacent side?

They built ya a strong ship.

Thankful they was able to walk away with very minor injuries, they definitely had the man above looking over them. This could have been way worse.
