Wallet stolen from briefcase in back of truck yesterday. Called and made report. No money, cards and ID and photos of kids. THEY STOLE MY FRIENDS OF FLOYD CARD! This cannot stand.

Called one of my cards, they reported, in real time, that card just used at Wal-Mart in Lafayette. I called and the same officer that took the report, O'Donnell, #462, went to Walmart and made an arrest. Apparently she was still there running through all my debit and credit cards. Well, $161 worth of crap at Wal-Mart isn't worth the multiple criminal charges she will be facing and will have an INTERESTED victim deeply involved in her prosecution.

This is a complete hassle and I am not looking forward to the e-mail I must write the G-1 to explain why I need a new military ID. Oh, the fun that awaits me today.

Thank you, Officer O'Donnell and all of the Lafayette Police Department. Lunch is on me. (Yes, of course it will be Buck Creek Pizza)

Sorry to hear this Kirk, but it appears that things turned out well, thanks to the great work by a good officer.
Still a hassle though to get all the other stuff changed over and replaced.

Now that is police work! How about we fund that, instead of trying to destroy it...

Sorry you're going to have to go through the hassle of compromised cards and IDs.

I'm curious, did you actually get the wallet and at least some of the contents back? No agenda behind that question at all, just curious as to how that would go in that situation.

I wonder if she needs a good defense attorney. Any suggestions?

Too soon JS... an hour too soon because you beat me too it!!

Seriously, good to hear the thief got cuffed and stuffed Kirk. All the BS you have to go through with your credit cards and IDs? I don't envy you.

If there was just some way for the clerks to check the name on the card with a matching I.D.

Glad you got the wallet back. :rockwoot:
