Sorry to hear this, and I didn't realize he wrote "Mr. Bojangles". The only version I was familiar with was Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's.
According to music industry sources I have, it was written by Jerry Jeff. Bromberg often played with Jerry Jeff and still sings it, to my knowledge. But, Jerry Jeff wrote it.

    RIP

I've been a huge Jerry Jeff fan since I was a teenager. He was one of the original cosmic cowboys and is a forefather of Texas country music. The exploits of him and the Gonzo band are legendary.

If you're not familiar with JJW, check out Pickup Truck Song, Pissin' In The Wind, Up Against The Wall Redneck Mother, Gettin' By, Keep Texas Beautiful, and Sangria Wine.

Another great talent taken from us in 2020. RIP Jerry Jeff Walker.

Used to have some great Jerry Jeff music.
A lot of their material went missing with the end of vinyl.
