    Walter Williams passed today.

    A great loss.

It is unlikely those shoes will be filled; particularly in today's environment.

I have learned so much from WW, he can never be replaced. What an intellect! No finer gentleman!

May he rest in peace and God bless his family...

RIP Mr Williams. He and Thomas Sowell are/were both great voices in the public sphere.

Went to see him speak in the Detroit area 20ish years ago. So sad. We need more folks like him.

Walter E Williams was a great mind and a national treasure.
His passing is a huge loss.

Here's an article written about him by his close friend Thomas Sowell, another great mind.

    "Walter E. Williams 1936-2020
Thomas Sowell remembers his best friend"
    https://www.wnd.com/2020/12/walter-e-williams-1936-2020/

    From the article:

As a person, Walter Williams was unique. I have heard of no one else being described as being "like Walter Williams."
We may not see his like again. And that is our loss.

Could not be said better nor more succinctly.

RIP Mr. Williams and thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight. He will be sadly and greatly missed.
