    Although largely inconsequential, post count and rep points do allow other members two more pieces of data in their quest to "feel out" other members.

    I was curious if there was a quick way to determine post quality by looking at the relationship of post count and rep points.

    Try this:

    ****Warning: minor math ahead****

    Take your total number of rep points (found in the upper right-hand corner after you click the "UserCP" tab at the top of the page), and divide them by your total post count.

    For example: 14,091 (RP) / 8,068 (PC) = 1.747

    We'll call this our "Post Quality Index". :D

    My PQI is 1.747

    What about you? :ingo:

    Your mamas house
    Rep=334 posts= 258 PQI=1.2945
    Rep is generaly one persons opinion on a particular post in a thread. Post count can be increased just by an individual posting a bunch of +1, or WoW posts. I personally dont get an accurate acount on a persons character by looking at thier post or rep count...:twocents:

    1124/303 = 3.71

    Of course, we all know that by posting that score in this thread, we are guaranteed to immediately decrease our PQI, right? It increases the post count while not providing any chance for getting rep for that post! Oh well...

    ETA - Shiver me timbers, shibumiseeker proved me wrong.
    New score: 1132/304 = 3.72
