    Wow. That is amazing.

    If one thing should be made clear to everyone: Getting escorted to the back of the store or the restroom or anywhere is when you should be firing back (just like the old guy in the Subway). She is lucky beyond belief. Lucky the robber used a small enough caliber that the thick bone was thick enough.

    I don't know how I could work at a walk in retail store not being armed. The odds are low that something will happen, but decidedly greater than 0.

    I knew a guy in high school (druggie) who got shot in the head point blank. Bullet hit dead center front, skimmed up and over the skull and lodged in the back. He lived, but had vision imparement and slurring of speech.

    There was also the legal battle last & this year:

    Attempt to remove bullet leads to lawsuit
