With these people the ends justfy their means. In the scheme of freeing our society from the scourge of guns, what are a few endangered gun owners who we all know are just mass murders in waiting.

Not saying it is by any means but it is a possibility it's a push from the new mda slogan, "whatever it takes". With the exception of the seriously deranged, nobody feels good about mass murders etc.

Then WE, as LEGAL gun owners, need to press charges, for false info, false arrest, and whatever else applies.....

The police will get tired of this, pretty quick, and there will be a need for some kind of training ..... JMHO.....YMMV.....

Start charging and prosecuting a few.
Let them pay some legal fees and the ambiance of a jail. Take the wind out of their sails.

We use Elkhart County dispatch. Sheriff Rogers is very pro 2A. The county deputies, our officers, and our dispatchers all know the laws in Indiana regarding carrying firearms, and this would never happen here. I know a few county guys who don't even bother to check LTCH on a traffic stop if you disclose that you're carrying.

We were taught to leave open carriers alone. They made it clear to everyone that OC is not a crime. I'll of course thank you for carrying, get some good publicity, but no jack booted thuggery here.
