What problems have OC folks faced?

I had read a post about a person carrying and having some problems with a person not happy with them carrying and it got me curious about what problems those of you who routinely open carry face day to day? I CC so I have never had an issue but I have seen my share of folks open carrying so it all just got me curious what you guys face.

It's become so common, I hardly ever get offered free drinks at gas stations any more.

I have yet to have had an issue either. Even with Cops. (good thing I dont believe in jinxes lol)

No problems at all. I've had several people comment about the gun I carry, but all in a positive manner. No problems even when pulled over by IMPD one afternoon on the way to the range.

I OC probably about 90% of the time and in years past you would get the occasional stares or the "are you a cop" issues but the past year it's become so common of a sight around here that there is no issues. Even has a Vigo County deputy in Wal Mart say you DO you have extra mags on you right? I said of course, he smiled and replied "carry on my friend"

I had read this before I posted my question I thought it was great information. Great responses, I didn't expect anyone to cite major issues I was just curious.

Once heard some snide comments behind my back about Open Carry Texas while I was at a Crown Point Restaurant eating.

I somewhat recall stating many years ago that once carrying openly became a majority trend, I might opt to conceal mine.

I've never had a negative encounter. I have had a number of positive ones though, and I even carry in the People's Republic of Bloomington where you're from!
