Clowes Hall - Fluffy Mania

Does anyone know what the rules/laws are with respect to Concealed Carry at Clowes Hall? I am planning on attending a comedy event on Thursday night.

Butler University is not firearms-friendly, but they barely have a policy on it. CC should not be an issue at all.

From a legal standpoint, just be aware there is a school at the corner of Boulevard and 49th and over at Illinois and 46th. Don't park there.

Park in the garage, or on campus somewhere, if you can. Locals don't care much for visitors parking in front of their homes. Smash-n-grabs are also not uncommon along the streets during events.

Last time I was there they were wanding entrants. That MAY have just been because it was the Marine Corps Band, though....(or was it the Army's band?)

My son goes to school there, and I carry everytime I visit. I've been in Clowes with a gun, but never during any shows.

New parking garage was easy and close. Lots of visible security and police, but no wanding or metal detectors.

Show was fantastic! Great venue, almost all new material!!
