The bloomington PD doesn't seem to mind it. (In my experience, Bloomington PD makes a pretty clear and reasonable distinction between what they are and are not concerned with).

As some might see it as being paranoid, we do live in a world where bad **** happens and merely looking through a peephole can be dangerous, so a lot of people have cameras now tied directly to a small screen next to the door to see.
