    While I am not saying we need to be trigger-happy, doesn't the Indiana code specifically protect someone who uses a firearm in self-defense from being sued?

    And this is a good example of what's wrong with society today. Parents defending their offspring for committing crimes. You see it all the time, complaining when their dirtbag kid gets hurt or killed committing a crime.

    It's the norm rather than the exceptions, across all colors, creeds, religions, and wealth. No one ever wants to admit that they have a scumbag kid.
