    Marion County Laws vs IC?

I have a good friend (IN resident) who is looking to put a bid on a house in Marion County and he asked me about any different laws around firearm possession, carry, and blade laws. Told him that I wasn't aware of any difference, but I also don't live in Marion County.

Am I correct that IC trumps County and Local law over these, therefore no difference if he moves? Believe I'm right, but I also like to check!

LTCH, NO problem, as far as I know .....

We, have a preemption law, no small city or town, NOT to have different law .....

Just be careful, downtown, lots of no carry "zones" .....

I'm aware of Children's Museum, State House stuff, and courthouses... Been told about hospitals, but haven't seen for myself. Am I missing anything?

I think preemption is only for firearms. I think knives are a different matter.

Act is correct, knives are very different and Marion County has some strange stuff.

    Does he have specific questions?

Mainly firearms, but he's starting to get into Shivworks stuff (blades and BJJ). Small, fixed defensive blades / push daggers are in the future.

Interesting about the cell phone cases. They always seemed stupid enough on their face to avoid them, but apparently people are stupid enough that it had to be legislated.
