    I'll just leave this here:

Two judges from southern Indiana's Clark County were shot and wounded early Wednesday in the parking lot of a downtown Indianapolis White Castle restaurant. The shootings occurred about 3:30 a.m. and police retracted an earlier report that the men had just left the Red Garter Gentlemen's Club, located immediately south of the White Castle near Lucas Oil Stadium. It's not yet known what sparked the shootings. Police said detectives found no evidence suggesting the judges were targeted because they are judges.

    .
Some counties do Circuit 1, Circuit 2, Circuit 3, etc.

It freaked me out when I saw it the first time when I was teaching for IPDC in Madison County.

IPDC = International Pregnancy Deterrent Committee - What did you guys do, just pass out rubbers? :dunno:

Besides 1 or more judges not wanting to feel like "second class citizens" as superior court judges....why?

You would think two judges of all people should know that nothing good happens after midnight, especially not next door to an establishment of that nature, especially not at or about closing time, which the establishment's website lists as 03:00.

Nothing good happens after Midnight. A lot of people get shot outside strip clubs in Indianapolis. Combine the two? Not a good place to be or time to be there.

I can't say it any better than MCgrease08. Didn't these judges learn the following at some point in their careers?

One must always follow the 4 rules of stupid.

    1. Don't do stupid things.
    2. Don't go to stupid places
    3. Don't go out at stupid times.
    4. Don't hang with stupid people.

You can usually get away with breaking one of the rules, but breaking two or more leads to problems.
