I was pulled over for speeding (just a little) many years ago. I and a friend were on our way home from the range. When the officer asked about guns we both laughed spontaneously. I explained why and all was cool.

IIRC there were 2-3 ARs, an AK, an M1A, and probable a dozen handguns.

I got stopped leaving atterbury back in the eighties. I was in a big block Mopar convertible, northbound in triple digits when I passed a southbound trooper. We had probably 20 long guns in the back seat, and the top was down. When he walked up, his first question was, "do you have a permit for those rifles?" It went down hill from there.
