Hand guns on boats in Indiana

I have heard that I can not open carry my hand gun on a boat in Indiana, is this true? I open carry 99 percent of the time and I would not feel comfortable on some lakes not having it on my side.

    Thanks in advance

You are fixated on the wrong word. Open, concealed does not matter, do you have the license?

Yes I do... The only question was on the boat. I didnt know if I would be legal there as well. Thanks

    Yes
ANY attack against the Constitution is an act of terrorism and should be dealt with accordingly.

Are we talking before or after the tragic boating accident?

    It depends on the lake.

The usace only owns like roughly 500 lakes in the US.

I believe you have somehow intermingled ACOE with open and concealed carry.

Take boat out of your question. It has no relevance on your inquiry.

These are army corp of engineer controlled lakes in indiana.

You cannot carry on them. Period.

Any other lake in indiana you can just fine. -edit- IF you have your ltch that is.

Of course. I am not a lawyer. Use my advice at your own risk.

I spoke to the ACOE people at a boat show earlier in the year and they said they are working to change that, so in the near future you can expect
carrying on ACOE property to be ok.
