I was wondering something tonite. I'm going to put in the paperwork for a Tac65 Suppressor for my P22 and Sig Mosquito. I was wondering, Im getting ready to buy a 22 Magnum rifle. Do you think that the suppressor would work for the 22 mag as well (i know the decible reduction wouldnt be as great as a 22LR) if I just threaded the barrel?

TI will tell you no. All aluminum rimfire cans were built and welded to stand up to the pressures of the .22lr round. There is a very good chance that you could damage or destroy the suppressor from the pressures created in the .22WMR round.

Look at the SWR Spectre if you're looking for a multi-caliber can for rimfire.

It can handle all rimfire calibers as well as 5.7x28 and is rated for full-auto fire as well.

Plus, you can use "the dip" to clean it.
