While going thru my approved paperwork (switching banks, thus switching vaults) I noticed the model of one of my SBR's was incorrect. It was recorded as "UMP" when it should have been "USC" No clue how I made that mistake, must just have been not thinking when filling it out.

Going out in the mail tommorow morning is a letter explaining the mistake/correction, along with a photograph of the correct marking (also visible is the SN, might as well make it easy).

My question to the group is anyone had this happen before? If so was there an issue, or was the ATF cool with it? Also, is there anything else I should be including in this letter that I am not?

Nope, you did good by adding the photo. They will update the registry but will not reissue you another form.

However, if you sell it the new form can be corrected. However, if you sell it I would send another letter with that form as a reminder.
