    Could a GM-9 be put in a .30 caliber carbine and be safe. I'm going to call Gemtech for answers but thought this would be interesting.....

    I would think no on that. The can is rated for full auto 9mm and only sub sonic 300 blackout. Gemtech specifies that the 300 has to be out of longer than a 7.5" barrel. That sounds like a rifle round would be too much for that can. :dunno:
