How did you create the trust? Essentially you need to have it amended to not include the person and then notarized again. Who ever drew up the trust initially should be able to do it.

Just like the title says how do you remove a co-trustee from a trust. I created the trust and would like to remove someone.

    Thanks,
    Shayn
It depends on how the trust is written. With mine it's as simple as filling out a form that removes them from the trust. Others may need to have the trust rewritten and re-notarized. It's all in how the wording in the trust as well as the form used to add them to the trust.

I was looking into this also. I had my trust done by Mark Hatala he said he would have to draw up an amendment I believe is what he said then take and have it re-notarized..

Add an new amendment by the Grantor of the trust and have the amendment notarized.
