I've got my suppressor ordered but need my fingerprints taken.
I'm in Marion county, South side.
Do they do them at the city building or is there other alternatives?

I just renewed my LTC and set a fingerprint appointment here:

    Favorable Behavior Support Services
7210 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227

Not sure if there needs to be a specific place because it's a suppressor, but this should be closer

If I remember correctly, GPD will only do fingerprints for Greenwood residents now. I saw the sign last year, may have changed since then.

Isn't that place for electronic prints? NFA print cards have to be on paper, not electronic (unless they can be printed off)

Go to Beech Grove PD. Super nice lady there. They are close to where I work and have done a couple for me. Much easier and more pleasant than going downtown, paying for parking, unloading all your crap to pass trough a metal detector and then being treated like you are a bother.

    https://www.atf.gov/explosives/qa/how-do-i-get-my-fingerprints-taken

"Fingerprints must be submitted on Fingerprint Identification Cards, FD–258 that have been issued by ATF. The fingerprint cards must contain the following ORI information: WVATF0900; ATF–NATL EXPL LIC, MARTINSBURG WV. These fingerprint cards may be obtained by contacting the Federal Explosives Licensing Center at 877-283-3352 or the ATF Distribution Center at 703-870-7526 or 703-870-7528. The fingerprint cards must be completed by your local law enforcement authority."

I'm not sure how Silencer Shop deals with doing prints digitally, but I'd assume that they just print them onto the appropriate form.

Assuming they're not too expensive to obtain and also assuming that you might want one or more additional NFA items this year, consider getting a few cards done at once and save the hassle of having to go back and do it again.
