I couldn’t find the answer anywhere on the google machine...

I want a suppressor but i move around a lot of work. sometimes I’m in a state for 8 month with a max being 14 months in the last 4 years. I have never wanted to start the processes and have to move in the middle because I hear that’s a nightmare, and I could be moved to a state where they are illegal.

my question...if my father who is a Michigan resident, and I start and NFA trust and he applies for the suppressor...would it matter what state I’m in? If we are both on the trust is it legal to do that? As long as we notify the atf about the item leaving a state we should be good, right?

love to hear so,e thoughts, thanks!

ATF doesn't require notification of interstate travel with suppressors. Just start the trust with you and your dad as trustees.

ETA: use your dad's address for the trust
