I finally got my tax stamp and received my .556 suppressor, and to celebrate I wanted to build a dedicated host for the suppressor. I also didn't want spend a lot of money because the suppressor was so cheap to begin with. At the end of the day I spent well under $1,000 (including taxes) and ended up with a nice looking firearm. I haven't taken it to the range yet, but will do so one night next week one night on my way home from school. Below are the pictures and also what I spent on the compo nets.

    Rebel Alliance Suppressor - $200
    Tax Stamp - $200
    Anderson Lower Receiver - $35
    PSA Pistol Kit - $279
Bushnell Red Dot Sight - $45

    Total - $759

the only negative comment I would have is... Bushnell low mount? Really? For the same price you could have gotten a set of BUIS.

Great build by the way. No shame in any of that. $400 well spent.

I'd be curious what that suppressor is rated for. I wouldn't want to try F/A or really high volume/short time frame repetition. But at $200 I'd put one on a .22 in a heartbeat.
They say its not for F/A or even for mag dumps. It just drops the level to about 140db, just enough to wear a watch cap over your ears.
