I'm getting ready to submit a form 4 to the ATF for the transfer of an SBR. I have the fingerprint cards that I ordered from the ATF website. My local PD (New Haven) has currently suspended their fingerprinting service at this time, so I thought I would do them myself. What kind of ink do I need and where would I be able to purchase it at?

Make some copies of the finger print card and practice. It can be challenging and you don't want them to be rejected.

I ordered extra cards for that purpose. I did the fingerprints last year using the Silencer Shop kiosk, so I still somewhat remember the procedure.

Yes just did the kiosk for silcensorshop also. My old hands and fingers don't bend very well, quite hysterical watching me roll my thumb. I hope they deleted the video footage.

The Lee pad worked great. Hopefully the ATF agrees with me. It did take me some practicing to get the prints to come out right, definitely a little technique to the process.

Alright, since we're talking fingerprints here... how many of you have scanned your prints then printed them onto an FBI card?

I have a 600 dpi scanner which I think it plenty good enough.
I have a few ATF / FBI blue fingerprint cards.
I don't want to mess them up so want to scan & print on regular card stock then run the real cards through the printer manual feed tray.
