Phoenix Weaponary has released a shotgun that has a integrally suppressed barrel.

Interesting, but just as interesting is that there’s not a single video review online (yet). Would’ve thought that Hickok 45 would’ve shot it twice by now.

No specs as to db change (is it hearing safe?)
Looks like they sell as a unit, so is the entire gun an NFA item now?
Since it’s a pump, it’s not like there’s a gas system to worry about balancing, so why not sell a suppressor-integrated barrel to mate to your own 870 or M500, but I’d totally be interested. It’d be a lot of gun to wield, but turkey hunt in relatively close proximity to other houses, so i’d be interested in a setup for my 1187 (without having to buy another 1187).

I’d heard that to bird hunt in GB, you need to used a suppressed shotgun, but never got the entire story on what they use for suppressors. Also heard that the only way they can hunt with a firearm there is to keep the firearms locked at a gun club, and when done hunting, it stays at the club. Makes me thank my lucky stars to live where I do.

Their suppressor has got to reduce db to a degree, just like those ports make any gun louder to the shooter’s ear (or bystander’s).

Demo ranch had one on his channel a while back. My understanding is that since it is integral to the weapon as built it is non NFA due to the definition of supressor/silencer.

It is entirely possible that the ATF has since ruled otherwise.
